You didn't comment on your marked improvement from last year! Yes, you're not a Grandmaster, but you're continually improving and I think that's important.
I am honestly not sure if I have improved in all aspects of the game -- I think in some ways I may be worse -- I'm definitely lower-rated this year than I was last year by this point, but I also am trying not to sweat it.
